We are gladly addressing you in order to tell you that we are preparing a new edition of MAQPAPER fair which is going to take place in April in 2011 in the fair premises of FIRA D’IGUALADA.

We are aware of the risk we are taking with this fair but we are also confident because we have been talking to some enterprises in the sector and some exhibitors. We know that the  general economic situation is complicated and not the best at the moment but at FIRA D’IGUALADA we believe in being faithful to our vocation of encouraging the economy sector, specially the one present in our area. It is true that the paper sector has got specific characteristics and some enterprises are thinking of modifying and diversifying to reach the optimum productivity and efficiency levels. These are essential in order to be able to equal the demands of the market and to face the crisis.

We have decided to organize the fair because we want to deliver a positive message to the sector. The Fira is not there only to see machines, providers and clients. It is also a way to meet people, talk and meet synergies among enterprises which can complement each other. We know that things have changed and will hardly become the same as they were before. The crisis has changed the rules of the game and we must find new opportunities. That is why MAQPAPER is necessary as a catalyst and as an engine to move forward in this sector.

Here lies the mutual compromise both of exhibitors and visitors, each in its role and looking for opportunities and synergies. This is the role of the Fira; a Role which we want to play with lots of illusion and with the wish that it will be a positive impulse to everyone.
