A new edition of AEROSPORT fair is in progress!

In spite of the difficulties of the crisis and general pessimism the Fair is going forward and is ready to start a new edition in which we are going to have more exhibitors and more novelties.Technology advances and markets move and globalize. New professionals reach the stage.  There are new enthusiasts and the sector is present and is following up all these changes.

AEROSPORT cannot ignore all these changes and cannot be unaware of all the novelties in our airfield .We want to become protagonists and work to make compatible all the activities of sportive aeronautics with the new applications in space which will also serve to promote new economic activities in its surroundings.Also, economic activities are the great allies in fairs where they are promoted and become known.

With this passionate horizon we encourage all the exhibitors of the sector to be present with the aim of promoting their brands and products.New products are promoted in fairs and we are sure they will not miss this edition like previous ones.All in the framework of AEROSPORT, the only fair which has had continuity in its sector for more than 17 years.

Fira d’Igualada

One more year, and it has been eighteen years since we started, we are going to meet at the beginning of May at AEROSPORT contest in Igualada-Òdena.

We are going to see each other, spread out a net with new amateur pilots who have become fond of general and sports aviation and share all the experiences held together from a bird’s eye view.
 
If last year’s edition was a success in spite of the crisis, this year’s one is bound to be even better.From the FAC (Catalan Air Federation) we are going to make sure that you can consider AEROSPORT  your second residence in spite of the setbacks that might arise.

So, feel welcome to the contest which has already become a reference to general and sports aviation not only in Spain but in all of south Europe.

It is a pleasure to welcome the 18th edition of AEROSPORT. Catalonia is influential in the field of sports aviation and a meeting place like Aerosport is essential as a national reference in order to be able to welcome the professionals of the sector, industry, pilots and all the amateurs.

The fact that this edition is coming of age proves that initiatives of this kind help strengthen the sector in times of crisis. Both Fira d’Igualada and the FAC (Catalan Air Federation) have been working to consolidate the  AEROSPORT fair throughout these years with the help of other institutions and the exhibitors as well as the industrial net of the sector.All of them have made of this fair a unique one.Last year more than thirty enterprises took part in it and more than 200 aeroplanes flew from Italy, Portugal or France showing the growing interest of people to become a part of this event and enjoy it.

The Generalitat de Catalunya is working hard to promote Igualada-Òdena’s aerodrome and give it new opportunities and challenges as a corporate aerodrome.
